Job Summary: A professional to develop long-term mine planning, supervise contracts, plan mining projects, and manage safety—optimizing costs and ensuring feasibility. Key Highlights: 1. Influence and negotiate to optimize the investment portfolio *Cedro Mineração is a company specialized in the extraction, processing, and marketing of iron ore—the raw material that supports production across numerous sectors of the national and global economy. We invested in filtering 100% of generated tailings, followed by dry stacking. Additionally, we promote reuse of approximately 85% of water used in production processes, intensified environmental, health, and operational safety management, and invested in multiple social initiatives. Subsequently, in 2022, we launched a new operation in the city of Mariana.* *To date, our operations have generated over 1\.000 direct jobs, plus another 1\.500 indirect jobs—including transporters of our products and service providers focused on personal and professional development, health, and safety. Learn about our mission, vision, and values!* *We need people who believe in the future of mining and are ready to make a difference at Cedro.* *Our goal is to conduct a streamlined selection process and choose the right people—the ones who truly embrace Cedro’s culture—and encourage residents of the municipalities where we operate to join us.* **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop long-term mine planning using Deswik software; * Contract supervision; * Planning of mining projects, ensuring reliability and sound decision-making at Cedro Mineração; * Safety management. * Responsible for long-term mine planning; * Contract supervision; * Develop the mine life plan (life of mine \- LoM); * Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies for mining projects; * Fleet sizing; * Ensure the long-term plan remains executable within medium- and short-term horizons; * Plan, analyze, and implement actions in the project and operations areas aimed at reducing costs and timelines, and improving quality. * Ability to influence, communicate, and negotiate with internal stakeholders to establish procedures and activity deadlines, optimizing the investment portfolio; * Monitor physical and financial indicators of projects in the study portfolio, providing analyses, reports, and presentations for Capex tracking; * Prepare, approve, and execute engineering projects, including specifications, drawings, execution techniques, and required resources to enable procurement of materials and contracting of services related to implementation and operations. * Monitor and control defined actions for engineering studies, field activities, and project implementation; * Review layouts, control environmental management processes, and mining regulatory compliance. * Ensure alignment between short-term planning and long-term planning (detailing and breakdown) at the plan and project levels.
