**JOB SUMMARY** The Operational Development Technician will be responsible for managing automation and mechanization projects. This includes planning, executing, and monitoring projects, ensuring adherence to operational quality standards and compliance with schedules. The professional must report progress, identify critical issues, and propose continuous improvements, acting at the intersection between operational needs and technological solutions to ensure efficiency and sustainability in nursery operations. This role operates within a dynamic and technologically advanced environment, such as large forest nurseries and planting fronts in the Ribas do Rio Pardo region. **Responsibilities and duties** **DATA:** Location: Ribas do Rio Pardo \- MS Applications until: 10/29/2025 **WHAT WILL YOU DO?** * **Project Management:** Lead automation and mechanization projects from conception to delivery, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and scope control; * **Analysis and Optimization:** Assess existing processes, identify opportunities for automation and mechanization, and propose solutions that meet operational quality requirements; * **Implementation and Validation:** Supervise the installation, configuration, and calibration of automated equipment and systems, conducting functionality and performance tests with partner companies to ensure compliance with specifications; * **Schedule Management:** Monitor project progress against established timelines, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery; * **Reporting and Communication:** Prepare and present project progress reports, highlight key issues and improvement opportunities to stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication; * **Quality and Safety Assurance:** Ensure all implemented solutions meet expected quality standards and that occupational safety regulations and best practices are strictly followed throughout all project stages. **Requirements and qualifications** **WHO INSPIRES US?** * Someone proactive with strong problem-solving skills; * Interpersonal communication and ability to work in teams and across different hierarchical levels; * Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical thinking. **WHAT DOES SUZANO EXPECT FROM YOU?** * Completed Technical Education or ongoing Higher Education in Engineering, Forestry, Mechatronics, or Agriculture; * Valid driver's license category "B"; * Experience in the forestry or agricultural sector; * Project management experience; * Intermediate level in Microsoft Office; * Availability for fieldwork; * Previous experience in forestry operations or automation projects in the agricultural/forestry sector is desirable; * Must reside in the region of Ribas do Rio Pardo/MS, Campo Grande/MS, or Água Clara/MS **Additional information** **Additional Information** * This is a temporary position with a fixed-term contract of 9 months. * Ribas do Rio Pardo is an important hub in silviculture, with significant investments in technology for seedling production.
