Job Summary: A professional responsible for preparing patients for laboratory tests, collecting biological specimens, monitoring supplies and equipment, performing specimen triage and transportation, as well as cleaning and sterilizing equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Preparation and guidance of clients for laboratory tests 2. Collection of biological specimens across various age groups 3. Management of supplies, equipment, and biosafety in the laboratory Responsibilities and Duties * Prepare healthcare clients for laboratory tests, guiding them on the required conditions for test performance; * Perform and/or assist in blood, urine, and other biological specimen collections, including from children, adults, elderly individuals, and patients with limited access, per technical manual instructions; * Monitor the expiration dates and proper storage conditions of all supplies and equipment used, as well as their inventory levels; * Perform triage of collected specimens and transport them to the respective department according to biosafety standards; * Centrifuge tubes; * Manage inventory control of departmental materials, such as tubes and supplies; * Carry out cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of area materials and equipment, as well as their maintenance, preparation, storage, and distribution; report daily to the local supervisor, whether Technical Supervisor or Customer Service Supervisor; * Stay updated and clarify technical or behavioral questions with the Corporate Nursing Coordination of the Laboratory; * Perform other related duties as determined by the supervisor.
