Maintaining warehouse organization and optimization **Job Objective** Perform order picking and movement of goods according to orders, ensuring accuracy and productivity. **Requirements:** * High school diploma completed. * Principles of warehouse organization and layout; Best practices for optimizing storage space. * **Experience with order picking** * **Knowledge of manual or electric pallet jacks** * Agility and attention to detail **Responsibilities:** * Order Picking: Organize and pick items according to customer orders or shipping instructions, ensuring each order is complete and accurate. * Product Verification: Check the quality and quantity of picked products, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards. * Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized storage area, facilitating product access and optimizing warehouse layout. * Documentation and Recordkeeping: Complete picking reports, record products removed from inventory, and maintain accurate records of operations performed. * Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, such as forklift operators and logistics coordinators, to ensure smooth operations. * Equipment Handling: Use material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and carts, to transport products safely and efficiently. * Compliance with Safety Standards: Strictly follow safety regulations and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment. * Inventory Adjustments and Updates: Report discrepancies identified during the picking process—such as damaged or missing items—to supervision. * Participation in Inventories: Assist in stock counts and inventories, ensuring inventory data is accurate. * Adaptability to Change: Quickly adapt to changes in priorities or workflow while maintaining operational efficiency.
