Career growth through increasing complexity and certification. **Job Description:** Join Sotreq! Multiple mechanic positions available across Bahia state, from entry-level up to Level IV. Provide technical services for prevention, maintenance, and repair of large-scale equipment, working on mechanical, hydraulic, engine, and powertrain systems of machinery; performing repairs, assembly and disassembly of components, fault diagnostics, and preventive maintenance, based on technical manuals, drawings, sketches, illustrations, and specifications, using hand tools, measuring instruments, and specialized tools. Assist in and perform internal and external services on Caterpillar equipment and components, selecting appropriate materials and tools, operating instruments such as rulers, calipers, micrometers, and levels, and following defined work procedures. At entry levels, perform low-complexity tasks requiring guidance during certain phases of work. As experience grows, work becomes increasingly autonomous in medium- and high-complexity corrective and preventive maintenance, expanding responsibility for diagnostics, critical repairs, and technical decision-making. Career progression is tied to increasing task complexity, acquisition of new technical competencies, and progressive skill certification. **Requirements:** Completed High School; Knowledge of and/or experience in heavy machinery maintenance, preferably Caterpillar or similar brands. **Field Mechanics:** Driver's License Category B and full availability for travel **In-House Mechanics:** Driver's license not mandatory;
