This detailed strategy is the soul of our institution and must serve as a constant source of guidance and inspiration for all institutional decisions. **100% ON-SITE POSITION** **What is the challenge of this role?** Analyze and develop solutions for the most demanding technical challenges within our ecosystem—from production performance bottlenecks to designing new, complex components; Actively contribute to the evolution of our backend architecture by designing robust, scalable, and easily maintainable solutions—always aligned with industry best practices; Serve as the focal point for performance optimization, performing JVM tuning for Java applications, improving database query efficiency (Oracle and PostgreSQL), and ensuring low latency for our RESTful APIs; Act as a guardian of technical quality—writing exemplary code, conducting the most critical code reviews, and disseminating knowledge on automated testing, design patterns, and clean coding practices; Support the technical development of other team members through leading by example, pair programming sessions, and sharing knowledge about advanced technologies and concepts; Research, prototype, and evaluate the adoption of new technologies, frameworks, and tools that can deliver strategic benefits to our products and development processes. **What we expect from you:** Completed undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis and Development or related fields; Deep expertise and extensive experience with Java (version 8 or higher), including thorough knowledge of JVM internals (memory management, garbage collection, etc.); Architecture and development of high-performance systems using the Spring Boot ecosystem (including Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Batch); Advanced experience with relational databases Oracle and PostgreSQL—including tuning complex queries, indexing strategies, and modeling for high concurrency; Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka—not only producing and consuming messages but also understanding topic design, delivery guarantees, and idempotent consumption strategies; Proficiency in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs—with deep understanding of versioning, security, documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI), and performance; Practical knowledge of the containerized application lifecycle using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes; Experience implementing observability strategies using tools such as Datadog—to build dashboards, configure alerts, and perform performance (APM) and log analysis. **Not required—but we’d love it if…** Experience with profiling and performance analysis tools (e.g., JProfiler, VisualVM); Knowledge of reactive programming (e.g., Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor); Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI); In-depth knowledge of application security (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT); Contributions to open-source projects; Experience with NoSQL databases. **What you’ll find with us:** * Daycare allowance; * Eyeglass allowance; * Ben.up; * Benefits Club; * Pharmacy discount; * Birthday day off; * Wellhub; * Health and dental plans; * Life insurance; * Meal and/or food allowance (extended during vacations); * Certifications and training; * Corporate university; * And much more!
