




Description: * Completed undergraduate degree in Medicine; * Active Medical Registration (CRM/SP); * Residency/Specialization in Psychiatry. * Plan, perform, practice, and prescribe clinical treatments and interventions for SUS users; * Prescribe drugs, medications, and herbal remedies; * Establish prognosis and monitor the user’s therapeutic plan in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and with matrix support when requested; * Practice psychotherapy (if qualified); * Rehabilitate patients (biopsychosocial conditions), prioritizing comprehensive care; * Indicate need for hospitalization (when necessary); * Administer preventive treatments; * Screen for prevalent diseases; * Record all actions performed with the user in their medical record; * Issue prescriptions, reports, expert opinions, and certificates; * Develop protocols and reports on medical procedures; * Identify groups, families, and individuals exposed to risks; * Organize and work with groups aiming at health promotion; * Identify partners and available community resources; * Define actions according to local priorities; * Perform duties respecting the principles of the Medical Code of Ethics and complying with workplace regulations; * Provide patient/user care according to a pre-established or emergency schedule, conducting clinical history, physical examination, and diagnostic hypothesis, performing procedures, referring patients for complementary exams when necessary and/or initiating specific treatment; * Conduct anamnesis and physical examination, perform or request complementary exams and interconsultations; * Participate in multidisciplinary groups and meetings with health teams and/or users at the health unit; * Interpret clinical and complementary exam results; * Diagnose patients’/users’ health status; * Inform users about significant changes in their clinical progression; * Provide medical information to caregivers, users, companions, family members, and/or responsible parties, according to their level of understanding, when requested and/or necessary, in accordance with the attending physician’s guidance; * Jointly plan admissions and discharges with the multiprofessional team and supervise clinical care delivered at the unit; * Conduct home visits, home-based care, and domiciliary follow-ups, when necessary, together with the multidisciplinary team; * Refer users to other specialties; * Establish contact with other professionals whenever necessary, ensuring full inclusion and continuity of patient care within the health network. 2512050202181488686
