




Description: Mandatory: * High school diploma; * Technical degree in Clinical Analysis; * Knowledge in handling laboratory equipment. * Inoculate biological materials into appropriate culture media; * Prepare solutions and stain slides for examinations; * Enter examination results and medical reports; * Subculture blood cultures, identifying types of bacteria; * Sterilize waste materials in autoclaves prior to disposal; * Place tests with positive results into appropriate devices to identify types of bacteria; * Collect microbiological samples when necessary; * Perform bacterial sensitivity tests against antimicrobial agents (antibiograms); * Receive and organize materials and culture media; * Wash and sterilize reusable materials in autoclaves used in laboratory processes; * Monitor temperatures of refrigerators and incubators, ensuring compliance with ideal ranges; * Guide clients on microbiological collection procedures; * Inspect and maintain equipment and materials, ensuring preservation of the laboratory area; * Register and send tests and biological materials to the Central Public Health Laboratory (LACEN); * Request replenishment of work materials from the warehouse; * Operate laboratory equipment using specific methods for each type of test or examination; * Maintain cleanliness and preservation of glassware, workbenches, and laboratory equipment; * Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); * Follow company-established norms, procedures, and work instructions, or those stipulated by current legislation. 251022020253713888
