Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations #### **About the position:** Responsible for supervising and coordinating kitchen operations to ensure quality, food safety, and compliance with established standards. #### **Main responsibilities:** * Supervise the kitchen team, assign tasks, and guide daily activities. * Plan menus in collaboration with the nutritionist or head chef. * Manage inventory of food, supplies, and utensils. * Ensure compliance with hygiene, cleaning, and food safety regulations. * Monitor food preparation to ensure quality and standardization. * Support purchase order preparation and waste control. * Inspect incoming goods, verifying expiration dates and storage conditions. * Monitor maintenance of kitchen equipment, utensils, and facilities. * Train and instruct staff on proper food handling and preparation practices. Prepare production and team performance reports. #### **Mandatory requirements:** High school diploma. Technical course in Gastronomy or Food Safety is desirable. Previous kitchen experience. Team management and operational leadership skills, knowledge of food handling practices.
