Posted 1 day ago 1 vacancy Curitiba, PR - Brazil###### **Job Details** * Employment Type: CLT (Permanent) * Professional Area: Procurement, Engineering - Other * Work Modality: On-site ###### **Responsibilities and Duties** The Technical Buyer will act strategically in managing the portfolio of electrical materials, machinery, and equipment, ensuring alignment among quality, costs, and deadlines, thereby contributing to operational efficiency and project success. The professional will actively engage in supplier negotiations, procurement strategy definition, and cost reduction, as well as prospecting, developing, and evaluating both new and existing suppliers, representing the department in meetings and technical visits to suppliers and construction sites. - Negotiate and ensure procurement processes fully comply with supply criteria, compliance requirements, total acquisition cost, budget, and technical and quality specifications, with excellent execution; - Critically analyze supply scopes overall, assessing technical and commercial aspects, identifying opportunities for risk and cost reduction, as well as improvements in procurement processes; - Perform technical and commercial equalization of engineered items jointly with the Engineering Department, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, cost optimization, and alignment with project objectives; - Monitor and engage with supplier and departmental KPIs, using results to optimize procurement processes and develop action plans for continuous improvement; - Contribute to defining the department’s procurement strategy, participating in cost reduction projects and collaborating to achieve established targets; - Prospect, evaluate, and develop new and/or current suppliers, establishing long-term strategic relationships; - Ensure quality, manage risks, and mitigate issues in procurement processes, performing follow-up and working closely with suppliers to guarantee delivery and contractual requirement compliance; - Negotiate reimbursements, rework, or penalties arising from delays or quality issues with suppliers; - Advise internal customers and suppliers on company standards, policies, and operational procedures; - Keep the Vendor List (Supplier List) and registrations in the Procurement Portal updated, meeting quality and supply requirements; - Conduct periodic meetings and visits to suppliers, representing the Procurement Department; - Utilize e-procurement tools for process, order, and supplier management. ###### **Requirements and Qualifications** - Completed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Control and Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields; - Minimum 7 years of proven experience, preferably between 7 and 10+ years, in industrial installation or engineering companies; - Experience in procurement of LV and MV cables, LV and MV electrical panels, electrical substations, electrical infrastructure, fire protection systems, BMS (HVAC, lighting, security, and energy control), industrial instrumentation and automation, as well as other high-complexity technical equipment and machinery for medium- and large-scale industrial projects; - Knowledge of project management, including applicable methodologies and tools; - Familiarity with quality control techniques, tools, and systems applied to procurement and industrial processes; - Excellent negotiation skills, cost analysis capability, and ability to assess tax impacts in procurement processes; - Analytical ability, structured daily activity planning, and sense of urgency; - Excellent written and verbal communication, with capacity to articulate ideas and negotiate with diverse stakeholders; - Strategic vision, results orientation, and data-driven decision-making capability; - Willingness to travel occasionally, as required by departmental and project needs.
