**Job Description:** The Cybersecurity Analyst (Blue Team – Monitoring) will be responsible for continuously monitoring security events, identifying and addressing potential threats and vulnerabilities. The role will involve investigating incidents, recommending security reports and analyses, managing the ticket backlog, and providing initial technical support for information security incidents. **Responsibilities and Duties** – Continuously monitor security events, identifying and analyzing threats and vulnerabilities. – Collaborate in the investigation and response to level 1 security incidents, documenting actions taken in tickets. – Assist in preparing security reports and analyses, highlighting trends, anomalies, and improvement recommendations. – Manage the ticket backlog, ensuring compliance with internal standards, deadlines, and regulations. – Provide initial technical support to clients regarding information security incidents. – Work collaboratively with other teams to enhance security posture and mitigate risks. **Desired Requirements:** – Completed or ongoing Technologist degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Networks, Systems Analysis and Development, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related fields. **Experience:** – Knowledge of information security monitoring and analysis activities. – Basic knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Trend Micro, and related technologies. **Soft Skills:** – Curious, dynamic, flexible, attentive, collaborative, results-oriented, organized, resilient, able to discern and react under pressure, good writing and verbal communication skills, strong internal coordination ability, willingness to share knowledge. **Hard Skills:** * Knowledge of security monitoring and analysis tools. * Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. * Knowledge of Trend Micro. – Ability to work in a team, communicate clearly, and efficiently solve problems.
