APPRENTICE HYGIENE ASSISTANT

Job Summary: Assist with general hygiene of sectors, restrooms, and surfaces, restocking supplies and organizing the environment. Key Highlights: 1. Assisting with sector hygiene and waste collection. 2. Responsible for cleaning and organizing environments and materials. 3. Organizing inventory, functional carts, and PPE kits. ### **JOB DESCRIPTION** Assist with general sector hygiene through internal collection of common and recyclable waste, excluding biological waste requiring airborne and contact precautions; Assist with restroom, glass, horizontal and vertical surface hygiene—including tables, countertops, walls, ceilings, curtains, blinds, and windows—by sweeping and washing to maintain clean and organized areas; Assist with cleaning and refilling soap dispensers, toilet paper holders, and other products in their respective containers, replenishing supplies as needed; Load and program the washing machine to keep cloths and mops clean; Organize boxes containing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits, and assist in completing staff records for the department; Organize inventory of hygiene products and equipment, and assist in sorting and distributing materials required for hygiene tasks; Organize functional carts and/or baskets according to company-established standards; Assist in verifying product identification and expiration labels per company standards; Perform related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, based on individual competencies. ### **JOB REQUIREMENTS** MINIMUM EDUCATION: Currently enrolled in Elementary School.
