It has 460 beds, including 80 ICU beds, and 16 operating rooms. HMDCC specializes in urgent and emergency clinical, surgical, and stroke care, with services coordinated and regulated by Belo Horizonte Municipal Health Department’s Hospital Admission Center. We are also a reference center for the Belo Horizonte SUS Network and for Minas Gerais State in high-complexity care across the following specialties: internal medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, and urology.
