This combination makes Dyno Nobel a great place to work. **Job Summary:** The MPU Operator will be responsible for operating Dyno Nobel trucks and specialized equipment to deliver ANFO (Ammonium Nitrate/Fuel Oil) and other commercial explosives to customers safely, timely, and efficiently. **Essential Functions:** * Ability to accurately complete inventory records, relevant documentation, and reports * Drive and operate bulk/mix trucks to prepare and deliver high-quality ANFO products to customer sites * Operate and perform maintenance on rigid trucks, ANFO units, and drainage equipment (or equivalents), delivering and unloading products in accordance with Dyno Nobel’s Health and Safety Management System procedures and practices * Calibrate equipment, calculate fuel ratios, and verify emulsion density * Load and unload all trucks, and maintain organized depots, sites, and inventories * Support raw material unloading * Perform measurements, priming, stemming, and loading support for blastholes when required * Transport materials and explosives * When necessary and duly authorized, operate auxiliary equipment and/or light vehicles (e.g., pickup trucks) * Support pre-split blasthole loading when required * Support blasthole stemming operations when required * Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in the yard, during vehicle operation and equipment handling, and at detonation sites—ensuring personal safety and that of others * When necessary and duly authorized, operate the magazine truck to transport explosives to the detonation area * Prepare and maintain all records and reports related to explosives handling and transportation—including safety, usage, and detonation—to ensure accurate billing, regulatory compliance, and performance history * Knowledge of and consistent application of company policies and procedures, applicable technical modules, site-specific standards, and safety guidelines * Ability to work with numerical accuracy and perform basic mathematical calculations * Proactively identify hazards and use preventive tools such as Take 5 to promote individual accountability for safety * Maintain safe working conditions and ensure all team members and others on site follow safety procedures and standards, ensuring safe and successful operations. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education * Valid Brazilian National Driver’s License (CNH) Class D or E * Current MOPP (Hazardous Materials Transportation) course certification, per ANTT requirements * Proven experience in mining, truck operation, and/or equipment related to explosive loading (preferred) * Knowledge of explosive handling and transportation per Brazilian Army regulations (SFPC) * Knowledge of and adherence to safety, occupational health, and environmental (SSMA) standards * Availability to work in mining areas and on rotating shifts (specific location) * Ability to perform basic calculations and complete operational reports * Physical fitness for field activities * Preferred experience with ANFO (Ammonium Nitrate/Fuel Oil), emulsions, and rock blasting processes **What We Offer:** * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance **Our Values:** * Zero Harm to All, Everywhere + Value People – Respect, Recognize, and Reward + Think Customer.
