Job Summary: The Cumim assists the waiter in all tasks, being responsible for the maintenance, sanitation, and organization of materials to ensure smooth restaurant service. Key Highlights: 1. Organization and preparation of materials for service **Cumim (Waiter Assistant) Responsibilities:** Directly assist the waiter in all tasks, primarily behind the scenes in the restaurant, aiming to minimize the waiter's absence from their assigned station in the dining area; maintain and be responsible for the upkeep and sanitation of all restaurant materials (glasses, cutlery, tableware, etc.); prepare and organize all materials required during the shift (mise\-en\-place) to ensure seamless service during peak hours; sanitize and restock materials for the dining area; clean and restock sideboards; organize dining room sideboards; maintain all restaurant tableware; set, maintain, and remove bread baskets (couvert) at tables; store all dining-area-related supplies requested from the storeroom; assist the waiter with any need and perform any other responsibilities or tasks assigned by supervisors.
