**About the Opportunity**
I wanna sleep is seeking its first HR leader to build the HR function from the ground up, with a practical mindset, genuine autonomy, and strong business alignment. This role will be both strategic and hands-on, working side by side with founders and leadership to implement simple, functional, and high-impact people processes that directly influence culture, employee experience, and company growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Build the HR function from scratch, identifying business priorities and implementing foundational people processes.
* Establish and evolve key areas including recruitment and selection, onboarding, culture, feedback, performance management, and internal communication.
* Serve as a business partner to founders and managers, supporting decisions related to leadership, climate, personnel movements, and conflict resolution.
* Develop leaders to conduct feedback sessions, manage performance, recognize contributions, and align teams.
* Create rituals and initiatives that reinforce culture, belonging, and organizational clarity.
* Support managers in defining job openings, candidate profiles, seniority levels, and budget—and oversee interviews, offers, and the hiring process.
* Structure an initial job classification framework, salary bands, and HR metrics.
**Profile We’re Seeking**
We seek a builder-type professional—hands-on, with broad HR expertise. Someone who engages confidently with leadership, communicates clearly and lightly, decides and executes autonomously, and possesses the sensitivity to craft simple, well-organized, and brand-aligned people experiences.
**Requirements**
* 5–8 years of experience in generalist HR or HR Business Partner roles.
* Prior experience building HR processes or strong capability to build them from scratch.
* Experience developing leaders and collaborating closely with managers.
* Execution-oriented profile, comfortable operating within a lean structure.
* Willingness to work onsite in Belo Horizonte.

* Background in retail, consumer goods, or brands with strong identity.
* Experience in fast-paced environments with minimal bureaucracy and high ownership.
* Affinity for startup or lifestyle brand contexts.
