**Job Description**
The product analyst for virtual validation of propulsion system structures provides technical support and leadership to achieve optimized engineering solutions through numerical simulations and application of expertise and experience regarding structural integrity. Components and subsystems—including internal combustion engines, transmissions, drivetrains, engine systems, batteries, and electric motors—are within scope. Primary daily interactions are with the program leader, product design teams, and testing teams, spanning from early product development phases through to supporting diagnosis/solution of potential issues in the final product. Daily communication is conducted in English, as the team is international and supports projects across multiple/different countries. Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting CAE analyses and reports focused on structural integrity assessment within the scope of product development, collaborating with involved teams to generate/direct optimized solutions.
* Directly contributing to the development/evolution of CAE methodologies for structural integrity assessment, both as an analyst performing simulations and as a technical reference for related disciplines.
* Leading technical discussions within the scope of assigned work during meetings/discussions with involved teams, providing support/guidance on technical queries and clearly communicating analysis results and their implications.
Currently, the Dynamics & NVH team supports projects globally. Key challenges include:
* Effective time and workload management to ensure quality and delivery deadlines under one's responsibility;
* Continuous alignment and integration throughout the work process with entities from diverse areas, aiming for a broader product-level perspective;
* Ongoing technical evolution and refinement of applied calculation methodologies, consistently seeking the optimal balance among accuracy, required resources (time, software, hardware, etc.), and analysis scope.
**Qualifications**
Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
Desirable: Doctorate in mechanical/automotive fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Dynamics simulations (preferably in propulsion systems).
