Description
**Main Responsibilities**
* Analyze clinical records according to the DRG methodology, performing coding of Diagnosis-Related Groups and acquired conditions, with a focus on generating indicators and improving internal processes.
* Identify inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement in clinical documentation, contributing to the quality of clinical information and hospital processes.
* Participate in developing and updating departmental procedures, staying current on DRG methodology and applicable regulations.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, committees, and technical groups to support institutional improvement projects.
* Meet productivity and quality targets related to clinical coding and discharge summary analysis.
* Support the implementation and monitoring of area-specific processes, procedures, and work plans.
**Requirements:**
* Technological degree or completed higher education;
* Specialization in Health Data Coding;
* Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical data coding according to DRG methodology;
* Knowledge of clinical record analysis and clinical information quality;
* Hospital environment experience is desirable.
