Here, you’ll have opportunities for professional growth and use your energy to positively impact the world. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Job Description:** A professional responsible for performing preventive maintenance at solar power plants, ensuring electrical reliability, integrity of generation assets—including transformers, inverters, switchgear rooms, and medium-voltage cabins—and correct operation of system protections. Conducts technical inspections, functional tests, preventive adjustments, and rigorous record-keeping to guarantee high plant availability and safe photovoltaic plant operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance on transformers, inverters, switchgear rooms, AC panels, and medium-voltage cabins * Verify and test protection systems: digital relays, control circuits, interlocks, and communication with SCADA systems * Evaluate current transformers (CTs), voltage transformers (VTs), grounding systems, connections, and overall electrical integrity * Check internal protections and grid compliance requirements (anti-islanding, voltage, frequency, etc.) * Conduct and analyze aerial thermography on PV modules and other electrical assets in the PV plant, identifying hot spots and anomalies * Complete work orders / RDOs, checklists, and evidentiary documentation with disciplined record-keeping * Identify and report non-conformities and operational risks * Support switching operations, lockouts, and releases per NR-10 and SEP standards * Collaborate with the corrective maintenance team to investigate deviations and drive continuous improvement **Requirements and Qualifications** * Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and protection logic schematics * Knowledge of digital relays, parameterization, and functional testing * Experience conducting tests and inspections on CTs, VTs, cables, and connections * Understanding of transformers, internal protections, and operational requirements * Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults * Application of NR-10/SEP and field safety procedures * Capacity to accurately complete technical documentation **Additional Information** * Health and dental insurance for employee and dependents * Meal allowance of BRL 42.00/day to enjoy your breaks with flavor * Life insurance for your security and peace of mind * Educational partnership to support continued professional growth * Transportation allowance to facilitate your commute * Gympass membership to encourage a healthy lifestyle * Flexible working hours to balance personal and professional life * Training programs to accelerate your development * ESG education supported by the UN Global Compact Academy to keep you updated on trends At Órigo Energia, our passion for renewable energy is genuine!
