The role will be responsible for the strategic management of the department and for ensuring high standards of quality, cleanliness, and presentation in compliance with brand guidelines. * Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily cleaning and room attendant operations for guest rooms and public areas; * Lead a structure comprising coordinators, supervisors, and the entire operational team, ensuring alignment, effective communication, and high performance; * Exercise strong leadership in team management, including performance evaluation and talent retention; * Foster a collaborative work environment focused on engagement, productivity, and operational excellence; * Manage departmental procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and acquisition of materials, linens, and amenities with the responsible team; * Control operational costs and budget, ensuring efficient resource utilization and achievement of financial targets; * Conduct rigorous inventory and stock control, ensuring appropriate replenishment and minimizing losses; * Implement and monitor quality standards, audits, and housekeeping operational procedures; * Collaborate closely with maintenance to ensure facility preservation and functionality; * Guarantee excellence in guest experience by promptly responding to requests and resolving incidents; * Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sustainability standards. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related fields; * Postgraduate degree/MBA is a plus; * Proven experience as a Housekeeper, preferably in luxury or upscale hotels with high room volume; * Solid experience in team management, including leadership of coordinators and supervisors; * Knowledge of cost control, budgeting, procurement, and inventory management; * Proficiency in housekeeping quality standards, audits, and operational procedures; * Experience in supplier management and negotiation; * Familiarity with hygiene, safety, and sustainability standards applicable to the hospitality industry; * Strategic mindset with a results-oriented approach, emphasis on guest service excellence, and conflict resolution; * Advanced English.
