




Job Summary: The Bakery Assistant B is responsible for producing high-quality and high-volume bakery items, ensuring culinary excellence and standards across the hotel chain for various points of sale. Baking and decorating cakes and desserts for events and buffets The Bakery Assistant B will be responsible for executing the production of high-quality and high-volume bakery items, ensuring culinary excellence and standards across the hotel chain to serve various points of sale (breakfast, room service, restaurants, and events/banquets)**.** **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare and produce a variety of bakery items, including cakes, pies, sweets, desserts, mousses, and other products according to the hotel's standards and technical specifications. * Bake and decorate cakes and desserts for events, buffets (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and à la carte service, ensuring product quality and visual presentation. * Prepare doughs, fillings, and frostings, weighing and measuring ingredients accurately. * Assist in setting up and replenishing dessert and breakfast buffets, as applicable. * Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and organization of the workstation, equipment, and utensils, adhering to food safety standards. * Monitor inventory and shelf life of ingredients and finished bakery products, requesting purchases when necessary. * Collaborate with the kitchen team and other departments within AB. **Desired Requirements and Qualifications:** * Proven experience as a Baker, preferably in the hospitality industry. * Knowledge and skills in baking and pastry techniques (doughs, fillings, frostings, decoration). * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards. * Organization, attention to detail, and creativity. * Completed high school education.
