The General Services Assistant role is tasked with ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, organization, and appropriate presentation of all clinic environments, directly supporting patient well-being, staff safety, and maintenance of established operational quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate organization, attention to detail, agility, courtesy, discretion, responsibility, and maturity to consistently perform recurring tasks with quality and professionalism. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed elementary education. * Prior experience in cleaning, maintenance, or general services. * Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance techniques for environments. * Basic understanding of safe use of cleaning products. * Organization and attention to detail. * Ability to maintain high standards of environmental hygiene and presentation. * Courtesy, politeness, and a welcoming demeanor when interacting with patients and staff. * Discretion and ethics to safeguard confidentiality of information and situations observed within the clinic. * Agility and time management skills. * Availability to work on-site from Monday to Saturday. **Desirable** * Completed secondary education. * Prior experience in clinics, medical offices, hospitals, or service companies. **Responsibilities** * Perform cleaning and maintenance of the reception area, examination rooms, administrative offices, restrooms, kitchenette, common areas, and all other clinic facilities. * Sanitize floors, furniture, glass surfaces, doors, countertops, equipment, and other surfaces according to established standards. * Organize environments before, during, and after service hours, preserving both appearance and functionality of spaces. * Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, alcohol-based hand sanitizer, and other hygiene and cleaning supplies. * Clean, sanitize, organize, and replenish the kitchenette, ensuring utensils and surfaces are in proper condition for use. * Prepare and serve coffee, water, and other simple support items as needed. * Collect, sort, and properly dispose of general waste, following internal clinic procedures. * Maintain strict separation between general waste and infectious, sharps, or specially classified waste. * Use cleaning products safely, adhering to instructions for application, dilution, storage, and preservation. * Take care of materials, equipment, utensils, and products provided for task execution. * Monitor inventory levels of hygiene, cleaning, and kitchenette supplies, proactively reporting replenishment needs. * Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, leaks, damages, or situations that may compromise cleanliness, organization, or safety. * Support room, furniture, and environment organization according to appointment schedules and operational needs. * Adhere to the cleaning schedule, established priorities, and leadership instructions. * Maintain a courteous, discreet, and professional demeanor while moving about and performing duties throughout clinic environments.
