Integrate with internal departments for strategic alignment ### **Do you believe well-managed categories tell stories, generate value, and drive results?** We are seeking a Veterinary Medicines Specialist Buyer (Commercial Category Manager) to act strategically and proactively in managing and sustainably growing the category, responsible for defining commercial direction, driving performance, profitability, and market share—connecting data, strategy, and execution across physical and digital retail. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end category vision, serving as the internal reference for commercial decisions, pricing, assortment, supplier negotiations, and Trade Marketing initiatives—always with a focus on results and scalable growth. **Your key responsibilities:** **Commercial Strategy and Category Performance** * Define the commercial strategy for categories under your responsibility, aligned with company objectives for growth, profitability, and positioning. * Monitor and analyze key category performance KPIs (sales, margin, inventory turnover, market share, assortment, pricing, and stockouts). * Identify growth opportunities based on market data, consumer behavior, and sell-out and sell-in analyses. * Lead the development of strategic category plans, transforming data into actionable commercial decisions. * Evaluate market trends, competition, and innovation—anticipating movements and opportunities. **Assortment, Pricing, and Execution Management** * Define and review the optimal assortment matrix by store format, cluster, channel (physical stores and e-commerce), and consumer profile. * Drive strategic pricing, promotion, and mix decisions—balancing competitiveness and profitability. * Develop, validate, and monitor planograms and layouts to ensure maximum product visibility and turnover. * Ensure category strategy execution at the point of sale, in partnership with operations, trade, and supplier teams. **Supplier Negotiation and Relationship Management** * Strategically negotiate with key suppliers to secure better commercial terms, funding, promotional activities, and exclusivities. * Build and maintain strategic partnerships, aligning commercial interests and long-term growth plans. * Evaluate supplier performance based on sales, margin, turnover, and execution metrics. **Internal Department Integration** * Collaborate closely with Commercial, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Operations, E-commerce, and Finance teams to ensure alignment between strategy and execution. * Prepare and deliver executive presentations with analyses, results, and recommendations to senior leadership and internal stakeholders. * Serve as the technical and strategic category expert, supporting decision-making and prioritization. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine; * Active registration with the Regional Council of Veterinary Medicine (CRMV); * Knowledge of sanitary legislation and applicable regulations; * Strong communication skills and ability to guide teams; * Organized, analytical profile with a strong sense of responsibility; * Business acumen and ability to interface effectively with suppliers; * Availability for on-site work in Barra da Tijuca under PJ (individual contractor) regime ### **Preferred Qualification:** **Experience in managing raw materials, supplier relationship management, or working in environments integrating technical quality and operational efficiency.** **About the Position:** * Location: Av.
