As a **Senior Environmental Analyst**, you will conduct field assessments of environmental issues, ensuring operational activities align with both company needs and governmental regulatory requirements—contributing to the reduction and/or elimination of environmental impacts and improvement of the company’s environmental performance. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Participate in implementing environmental education programs, organizing and leading campaigns aimed at behavioral change, cultural adaptation, and transformation of attitudes and practices related to the environment. * Participate in monitoring and evaluating legal requirements, as well as monitoring atmospheric emissions. * Implement environmental management systems within the company. * Prepare documents required for the permitting process for new environmental licenses, authorizations, and/or certificates. * Participate in monitoring compliance with conditions stipulated in the current environmental license and provide guidance to responsible parties regarding process improvements and/or corrections. * Support the qualification process of suppliers critical to the environment and participate in audits of such suppliers. * Conduct studies and projects developed by the Environmental Department to support Management in drafting and reviewing documents, standards for the integrated management system, guidelines, and workforce training to eliminate and/or reduce environmental impacts and improve the company’s environmental performance. * Identify environmental aspects, impacts, and occupational risks, contributing to improvements in operational controls. * Draft legal documents required by environmental agencies to demonstrate compliance with applicable legal requirements—based on identification of relevant environmental legislation—to avoid fines or financial penalties resulting from non-compliance. * Ensure compliance with restrictions imposed by environmental licenses and associated legal requirements for the Environmental Department, negotiating scope of work with suppliers and planning internal execution of monitoring processes. * Develop and deliver environmental education training and environmental management system guidelines to the workforce. * Analyze environmental service contracts—including evaluation of services rendered, approval of measurements and events, and contractual amendments. * Manage quotations and control procurement and contracting of environmental services. * Support audits of existing environmental contracts. * Prepare technical and managerial reports and Environmental Performance Indicators. * Report on and monitor self-regulation programs: Procon ÁGUA, PROMON AR, and Waste Inventory. * Provide support and guidance to Production Areas regarding Waste Management & Selective Collection. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering; * Knowledge of identifying environmental impacts and aspects; * Knowledge of environmental legislation; * Knowledge of environmental management systems according to ISO 14001; * Knowledge of risk analysis techniques; * Advanced Microsoft Office suite. **Additional Information** **What You’ll Find Here:** * An **integrated, cheerful, and positive environment**, where collaboration and good humor are part of daily life. * A **cafeteria** for relaxed and enjoyable conversations with colleagues. * **Health, dental, and life insurance plans**, because caring for you and your family is our priority.
