We work with cutting-edge technologies and practices to build solutions that elevate content consumption, interaction, and the relationship between our products and users. Here, we are responsible for developing our digital products, including the G family (G1, Ge, Gshow) and Receitas. We strive to make Globo increasingly diverse—in representation and thought—learning from one another and fostering creativity and innovation. **Work Model**: Hybrid work for regions where Globo has offices: RJ, SP, Recife, POA, Brasília, and BH. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your Day-to-Day**: * Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams; * Write clean, maintainable code using industry best practices for software development; * Prioritize delivering the best possible user experience, working closely with UX specialists; * Contribute ideas and suggestions for effective and creative solutions; * Support your team’s growth by teaching, mentoring, and providing feedback; * Collaborate across your team, department, and company to foster a positive and motivating environment; * Continuously grow and develop professionally. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What You Need**: * Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with hands-on experience developing and optimizing code in these languages; * Advanced experience with Android Studio and Gradle-based project configuration; * Mastery of Android SDKs and ability to implement and integrate new SDKs as needed; * Proficiency in XML and Jetpack Compose for building responsive and reusable layouts; * Experience with MVC, MVP, and MVVM architectures; * Understanding of Clean Architecture and Clean Code principles to ensure code maintainability and scalability; * Adherence to SOLID principles for software development; * Experience with Coroutines for asynchronous operations and concurrency management on Android; * Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), using JUnit and Mockito to write unit tests and mocks. Knowledge of tools and practices to ensure code quality and test coverage. * Experience with Pair Programming for problem-solving and mentoring other developers; * Mastery of Git and GitLab for source code versioning; * Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment; * Familiarity with Firebase. **Nice-to-Have Skills**: * Solid knowledge and skills in algorithms and data structures; * Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile engineering practices; * Knowledge of Objective-C; * Proficiency with version control tools; * Experience with Urban Airship for push notifications and engagement campaigns. **Additional Information** **Why Join Globo**: Come and let’s build stories and technology together.
