**Responsibilities and Duties** **Summary Description:**
Carry out necessary actions to maintain and continuously improve the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, monitoring working conditions and identifying adverse situations through inspections and systematic application of legislation and corporate procedures, thereby preserving employees’ health and physical integrity, as well as promoting awareness for preventive action on related topics.
**Detailed Description:**
* Supervise compliance with occupational safety laws, monitoring work areas/sites, evaluating employee behaviors and risk agents, and guiding employees toward appropriate conduct;
* Prepare, organize, and deliver training sessions, as well as conduct Daily Safety Talks (DDS), meetings, and others as needed;
* Evaluate suppliers’ safety documentation prior to their access to company premises, verifying its adequacy to environmental operating conditions to avoid governmental penalties and ensure employee safety; evaluate/prepare Preliminary Risk Analyses (PRA); audit Field Work Permits; review safety checklists; and lead SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) campaigns;
* Monitor and investigate all occupational incidents/accidents, visiting the site, verifying conditions, analyzing the incident collectively, preparing reports, and recommending appropriate preventive and control measures;
* Perform activities required to comply with occupational safety legislation per established plans, supporting CIPA processes (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention), simulation exercises, mandatory training, and other initiatives, as well as inspecting personal protective equipment and fire-fighting equipment to ensure they are fully functional and properly maintained;
* Monitor measurements of physical, chemical, biological, mechanical, and ergonomic agents across facilities by visiting operational areas to comply with legislation and ensure employee safety;
* Execute activities stipulated in the Risk Management Plan (PGR) and other area-specific programs;
* Support management in executing critical unit-level processes, assisting in developing training maps, risk management, operational procedures, and others—focusing on health and safety aspects;
* Carry out assigned duties according to received plans, under the guidance and/or support of more technically proficient professionals or immediate supervisors—even for occasional advice or problem resolution. Does not yet demonstrate full proficiency across all processes, operations, or equipment within the area, nor full productivity levels;
* Support senior professionals in area-specific processes, leveraging their experience for self-development;
* Participate in implementing departmental work plans and procedures, executing and monitoring necessary technical actions to achieve established objectives and targets;

* Conduct safety inspections using checkbits;
* Conduct inspections at construction sites and work fronts;
* Close safety indicators at the unit.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Basic Requirements:**
* Completed Technical Education in Occupational Safety;
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
* Experience implementing industrial projects;
* Skills in training delivery and dissemination;
* Clear and assertive communication;
* Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams;
* Systems thinking and results orientation;
* Organization, proactivity, dynamism, and attention to detail.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Prior experience in food industry projects;
* Additional occupational safety certifications;
* Experience in Risk Management;
* Experience with low-code tools.
