Researches better utilization of labor and raw materials. Develops sampling plans for mass balances, water and metallurgical balance closure, and performance investigation; * Conduct grinding and flotation tests at bench and pilot scale in the process laboratory; * Conduct industrial trials (reagents, liners, grinding media, etc.); * Perform and analyze data from geometallurgical tests included in production plans; * Provide technical support for the development of new processes and new suppliers; * Accompany technical visits from suppliers; * Provide support in budget preparation; * Provide technical support to production teams, providing guidance and training; * Monitor and analyze critical variables affecting the production process; evaluate consumption; data and parameters impacting plant performance; * Critically and statistically analyze processes operating outside required parameters; * Develop sampling plans for mass balances, water and metallurgical balance closure, for performance investigation; * Accompany maintenance and operations teams during corrective and preventive shutdowns for equipment and wear parts inspection; * Monitor the plant’s daily operational routine; * And other related activities. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Mining, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering; * Postgraduate specialization in Mineral Processing is desirable; * Knowledge of copper processing, sampling techniques, and statistics is desirable.
