Support for initiatives aimed at fleet high performance and customer satisfaction. **Job Description** **Who will you work with?** The intern will collaborate with the field team, composed of technicians and reliability engineers with extensive experience in Wabtec locomotive maintenance. The intern will also have direct interaction with multidisciplinary teams—including engineering, quality and lean, fleet performance, materials planning, and customers—providing an integrated view of processes and operations. **How will you make a difference?** Our goal is to ensure agile and efficient customer service by monitoring processes and developing solutions for daily operational challenges. The intern will actively participate in the analysis and interpretation of maintenance data, process monitoring, and action planning, supporting initiatives aimed at maintaining fleet high performance and customer satisfaction. **What we want to know about you:** * Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering, with expected graduation starting from 2027. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Intermediate English proficiency. **Your day-to-day responsibilities:** * Support the maintenance department by learning daily routines to gain experience and knowledge of related processes; – Analyze damaged or malfunctioning locomotive components, assemblies, and parts to identify root causes and improvement opportunities; – Investigate root causes of non-conformities reported in products using specific problem analysis and resolution methodologies, preparing reports and communicating findings to relevant departments. * Prepare maintenance reports and manage preventive maintenance and maintenance process indicators. * Participate in maintenance area projects/improvements (Kaizen/continuous improvement); – Apply standardized processes, tools, and procedures related to equipment technical support, contributing to their enhancement. * Direct interaction with customers regarding technical recommendations/presentations and projects; – Follow and comply with internal customer guidelines and procedures according to the designated work location, participating in any required training for activity execution. * Ensure proper use, preservation, maintenance, and optimization of company assets, as well as maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace. – Comply with integrity and Compliance guidelines, as well as company EHS standards and procedures. **Additional Information** **What could you achieve in an environment that truly puts People First?** At Wabtec, it’s not just about a job—it’s about the impact you create.
