Support engineering in the continuous improvement of projects. * ### **Job Description** Job Description: Develop, optimize, and oversee casting projects and processes—from component conception through to production—ensuring metallurgical quality, production feasibility, and process efficiency. Main Responsibilities: + Develop casting projects, including part design, gating system, risers, and feeding systems. + Monitor and validate project execution on the shop floor. + Define casting process parameters according to alloy type, method, and technical specifications. + Analyze and resolve casting defects (shrinkage cavities, cracks, porosity, inclusions, etc.). + Support engineering in defining tooling and implementing project modifications for continuous improvement. + Collaborate closely with quality, production, and process engineering teams.
