Optimizing designs for manufacturing and cost efficiency **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Create 2D technical drawings and 3D models of components, assemblies, and machines using SolidEdge software. * Detail mechanical parts (dimensioning, tolerances, surface finishes, materials). * Update and revise drawings according to project changes or engineering requests. * Collaborate with engineers and designers in the development and validation of concepts. * Implement design adjustments to optimize for manufacturing and cost efficiency. * Prepare layouts and assembly plans. * Maintain organization and version control of project files. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, Mechanical Design, or related fields. * Proven experience of **at least 2 years** as a Mechanical Draftsman. * Proficiency in **SolidEdge** and **AutoCAD**. * Knowledge of technical drawing standards (views, sections, dimensioning). * Familiarity with manufacturing processes (machining, welding, forming). * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactivity. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with projects involving woodworking machinery, metal structures, sheet metal, or molds. * Basic knowledge of materials engineering and machine elements.
