Job Summary: The Mechanic will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of light and heavy vehicles, ensuring proper operation and safety of equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Maintenance of light and heavy vehicles (trucks and trailers) 2. Technical knowledge in mechanics, electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics 3. Performing diagnostics, repairs, and final testing on vehicles Requirements: * Experience as a mechanic performing maintenance on light and heavy vehicles (primarily trucks and trailers). * General technical knowledge of maintenance for light and heavy vehicles (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems). * Completion of a vocational training course in this field is a plus. * Completed elementary education. * Residency in Barra Mansa or Volta Redonda. * Availability to work from Monday to Saturday. Summary of Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the immediate supervisor to ensure execution of maintenance services on light and heavy vehicles. * Receive work orders and identify required services. * Perform general maintenance on light and heavy vehicles, inspecting (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components), conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, and evaluating the type of problem presented or the type of service required to plan the optimal execution method. * Disassemble, assemble, adjust, test, repair, and replace parts, components, and other elements of agricultural machinery and implements, light and heavy vehicles, and equipment. * Conduct final vehicle testing prior to release for operational use. * Request, through the immediate supervisor, procurement of parts, components, tools, and workshop materials, justifying requirements. * Request parts, components, and accessories from the warehouse according to the maintenance schedule. * Ensure activity control by completing control forms with all necessary information, such as: service execution time, defect type, maintenance type, materials, components, and parts used, etc. * Assemble, disassemble, repair, and adjust engines, transmissions, differentials, braking systems, clutches, etc. * Adapt hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as perform other necessary adaptations per demand or request, jointly studying with the supervisor the optimal implementation method and required applicability.
