Job Summary: Professional responsible for operating various mobile equipment and heavy machinery, as well as activities related to the handling of torpedo cars and scrap metal. Key Highlights: 1. Inspection and maintenance of mobile equipment Responsible for performing tasks requiring operation of mobile equipment (mechanical shovel, forklift, backhoe loader, mini-loader, aerial work platform, winch, overhead crane, crawler tractor). "\-Inspect machines and equipment daily according to checklist; \-Operate machines in accordance with the operation manual and over short distances; \-Operate backhoe loader, front-end loader, forklift, telescopic handler, mechanical shovel, Munck, mini-loader, aerial work platform, winch, overhead crane, crawler tractor, street sweeper tractor, in compliance with training certification and company authorization; \-Maintain cleanliness of mobile equipment; \-Perform various tasks related to mobile equipment; \-Operate crane via manual controls for scrap breaking; \-Operate crane for slag separation from scrap using steel spheres weighing approximately 10 tons; \-Drive heavy-duty off-road trucks; \-Operate overhead crane via manual controls and move liquid slag pots; \-Install and remove slag retainers from torpedo cars using electric hoists; \-Inspect torpedo car openings; \-Inspect Kish Pit tapping pits and emergency pits; \-Determine appropriate locations for torpedo car tapping; \-Receive cycle torpedo cars at the Kish Pit and coordinate and monitor their tapping and cleaning processes; \-Perform torpedo car tapping at the Kish Pit and Emergency Pit; \-Monitor and execute cooling and cleaning procedures for tapping pits; \-Assess torpedo cars and decide whether they remain in the cycle or not; take necessary actions regarding torpedo car handling processes to ensure continued functionality."
