To identify and mitigate these risks, our Independent Model Validation (IMV) area actively strengthens model usage by promoting cultural alignment and disseminating best modeling practices. Work model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite Location: Osasco – SP **What will your day-to-day look like?** As a Data Scientist III, you will work within the Governance and Methodology Management unit, with the following main responsibilities: * Conduct technical evaluations of relevant models across the Organization, verifying their suitability for intended objectives; * Ensure timely monitoring and guarantee the absence of undesirable biases, thereby reducing the Organization’s exposure to model risk; * Review statistical and mathematical processes by analyzing inputs, outputs, and methodologies used in risk model development, assessing coherence, consistency, comprehensiveness, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** What do you need to have or know? * Completed undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Database Management, Information Technology, Systems Analysis and Development, or Engineering; * Experience in developing, monitoring, or validating models; * Experience with Databricks; * Experience with Python.
