Advanced Spanish. **Desirable:** Postgraduate degree in Project Management, Negotiation, Strategic Procurement, Supplier Management, Operations Management, or Corporate Finance. **VW system knowledge:** AVON, TEVON, EBON, and STAR. **Key responsibilities:** Plan, control, report on, and lead procurement-related project activities. Represent and support the Procurement department in product and project modification forums. Perform follow-up across all procurement activities and responsible parties to ensure adherence to agreed deadlines. Prepare and present procurement activity status updates in company management and executive forums. Receive inputs—including component lists, drawings and/or technical specifications, volumes, and schedules—to support requests for supplier quotation proposals. Analyze component lists, drawings and/or technical specifications, and other supporting materials required to prepare supplier quotation proposal requests. Monitor price formation and negotiations to place orders according to targets and pre-established cost objectives set by supporting departments. Support the definition of supply sources. Maintain the component list in a control spreadsheet to ensure up-to-date status across all stages of performed activities. Track and control component changes throughout the project lifecycle.
