Production Assistant

Description

Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper condition of equipment and the work area; supply production lines and furnaces; package/encapsulate products generated during the production process; guarantee product quality and equipment efficiency; and assist operators and other support staff in daily tasks at the Fernandes Pinheiro unit. **Responsibilities and Duties** Main Responsibilities * Perform cleaning of tools and equipment, and maintain the production line’s operational condition according to existing procedures, properly recording such activities; * Conduct equipment inspections during cleaning, documenting any anomalies identified, thereby ensuring proper operation of equipment within your area; * Perform adjustments/minor maintenance on operated equipment, when required and qualified to do so, using appropriate tools; * Supply herbs to production sectors in the correct form and at the appropriate time as required by the production line, remaining vigilant for possible visual anomalies in raw materials that could compromise final product quality; * Package semi-processed products (chile, chilena, stemlet, and roasted stem bark) into intact and specific packaging designated for this purpose; * Palletize production, adhering to procedures and standards according to packaging type; * Supply wood chips to furnace hoppers in the correct form and at the appropriate time as required by the production line; * Palletize fuel (firewood) to initiate furnace ignition; * Complete control spreadsheets and checklists as described in area standard procedures; * Record production line anomalies using system tools; * Assist in operational activities and area analyses; * Assist in performing duties belonging to your position in other departments when requested by the production supervisor or area leader; * Interpret and analyze the loss tree of your area, generating actions to reduce impacts affecting daily operations; * Understand area performance indicators and how your activities affect each one, proposing improvement actions.
