Respond to urgent and emergency situations involving substation equipment **ENGIE Brasil Energia is looking for a new** **talent to join our team!** **Transmission Maintenance Operator I \- Substation** We are seeking a **Transmission Maintenance Operator I**, who—under the direction of the remote operations team—will perform operational maneuvers, isolation of transmission systems and equipment, maintenance tasks and/or support maintenance teams, assist in remote operation monitoring, observe potential operational anomalies on screen, and submit appropriate reports. **If you are organized, committed, and seek a dynamic environment for professional development, this is your place with us!** **Responsibilities:** * Record abnormalities identified in equipment and recommend corrective and preventive actions; log intervention controls and respective outcomes in the Company’s operational system, ensuring data accuracy to generate a database for reporting, performance indicators, and decision-making; * Perform maintenance services on protection, transmission, and telecommunications equipment and systems, as well as calibration, electronic maintenance, and specialized testing on critical-level equipment, in accordance with the Maintenance Plan and unplanned interventions, logging information in the system; * Carry out operational activities both outdoors and in the control room, maintaining constant communication with the remote control area; operate electrical and electromechanical installations in transmission assets’ substations when required; * Operate equipment such as PTA, Munck, and forklifts, following specific training for each device; * Respond to urgent and emergency situations involving substation (SE) equipment and systems until full restoration is achieved, as well as perform maneuvers at the SE during preventive and/or corrective maintenance; * Implement necessary and requested operational-level actions to comply with the Company’s Industrial Control Systems Security Policy; * Adhere to clearly defined internal procedures, documenting difficulties and non-compliance, and potentially participating in the creation or revision of procedures together with leadership and/or the Operations technical team; * Conduct tests and trials on substation equipment. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields, with an active CFT (Technical Certification). * Substation equipment and systems \- Basic. * Health, safety regulations and applicable standards \- Basic. * Integrated management system \- Basic. * Maintenance management tools and software, and technical documentation \- Basic. * Reading and interpretation of equipment technical manuals, technical drawings, and flowcharts \- Basic. * Transmission-related processes and associated equipment and systems \- Intermediate. * Maintenance and operation procedures, plans, methods, and techniques \- Intermediate. * Computer literacy: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet, email \- Basic. * Various administrative processes and routines within the area of responsibility \- Basic. **Desirable Attributes:** * English – basic. **Interested in this challenge?
