Job Summary: Professional to lead logistics operations for receiving, sorting, loading, and dispatching; manage teams and processes; and monitor performance indicators at a food distribution company. More than just distributing, we connect brands and markets through a meticulous curation of products developed in partnership with top national and international suppliers. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Logistics Operations Management:** * Lead the flow of receiving, sorting, loading, and dispatching goods at the cross\-docking facility. * Monitor transshipment time between trailers and delivery trucks. * Ensure cargo distribution according to destinations and demand. * Control inventory and surplus stock, preventing waste and losses. **Team Management:** * Lead logistics assistants and operators in product handling and organization. * Develop work schedules and define days off. * Ensure proper use of PPEs and compliance with safety regulations. **Process Control and Standardization:** * Verify and submit documentation to Segala's Gaspar. * Monitor service levels and cross\-docking performance. * Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as PDCA and 5S. * Ensure correct implementation of internal procedures. **Indicators and Results:** * Monitor KPIs including average transshipment time, service levels, operational costs, absenteeism, and team turnover. * Control product quantities and truck temperatures. * Reduce costs associated with damages, extra freight charges, and rework. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Experience in logistics operations, preferably in distribution centers or road transportation; * Completed high school education; * Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related fields; Segala’s is among the leading distributors of refrigerated food products in Brazil, operating as a specialized distributor in the Food Service and Retail segments.
