Focus on safety, hygiene, and professional development Tooling Assistant Position Description: We are looking for a Tooling Assistant to join our team. The professional will be responsible for supporting the tool assembly process and operating machining machines. Responsibilities: * Provide support to tooling professionals in tasks performed at workbenches, wire EDM, conventional machines, and CNC milling machines; * Manage disposal of obsolete materials, chips, etc.; * Log working hours in the time-tracking system; * Cut extractor pins, perform drilling and tapping operations on cavities, plates, and refrigeration manifolds; * Verify, log, identify, and archive electrodes and process sheets; * Use a manual milling machine to perform simple squaring and/or rapid drilling tasks under supervision; * Be assigned to the tooling department’s “job rotation” program for general learning; * Safeguard company assets by monitoring the condition of resources available for task execution and reviewing surveillance footage; * Understand the company’s vision, mission, and values, as well as established internal procedures and policies; * Participate in internal and external training sessions, following instructions or requests from immediate supervisors, aiming to acquire knowledge and/or specialization relevant to the company’s business, functional area, or position held, as well as technical improvement and updating, thereby supporting professional and personal development; provide in-person assistance, administer first aid, refer cases for external medical care, drive company vehicles during emergencies, and resolve minor issues; * Comply with company-established safety, hygiene, disciplinary, and other regulations, adhering to the stipulated rules and guidance from immediate supervisors, clarifying any doubts to ensure compliance with current regulations and serving as a role model for colleagues within the same department; * Take responsibility for and commit to maintaining a positive work environment, enabling everyone to participate and contribute toward optimizing targeted results; * Provide service and carry out other related and inherent professional duties as directed or requested by the immediate supervisor. Requirements: * Prior experience in the tooling field * Tooling course certification * Machining Mechanics course certification * Ability to work effectively in a team * Completed high school education * Technical or higher education preferred * Knowledge of mechanical engineering drawing interpretation preferred
