Job Summary: This professional will be responsible for operating electric and combustion forklifts to transport and store products, ensuring machine organization and maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Operating forklifts (LPG and electric) for material handling 2. Conducting daily inspections and safety maintenance on equipment 3. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workplace and machinery **Purpose and impact of the role:** ------------------------------------ * Operate electric and combustion (LPG) forklifts to transport finished products, cartons, packaging materials, and other items, storing them according to specifications; maintain machine cleanliness, stationary batteries, and workplace organization in accordance with area prerequisites. **Key Responsibilities:** ---------------------------------- * Operate LPG and electric forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport pallets, finished product cartons, packaging materials, and other items, and store them in the correct designated storage positions, following the specified layout and area procedures. * Supply the entire department to prevent production stoppages, loading delays, and unloading interruptions; retrieve pallets containing finished product cartons from the production line and store them in specific locations as directed by the supervisor. * Perform daily inspections of operational safety systems on machines, checking brake, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems; assess need for part replacements, observe equipment abnormalities, and report to the area supervisor to request corrective maintenance; complete forklift inspection checklists, documenting all deviations and submitting them to supervision. * Replace gas cylinders and batteries as required; monitor battery recharging processes and record data on the battery control board; maintain battery housekeeping. Assist with area cleaning, including forklifts and traction batteries, to ensure they remain in good working condition (10% responsibility). **Requirements:** --------------- * Completed High School education * Driver's License Category B * Availability to work all shifts * Residency in Primavera do Leste **Desired Qualifications:** * Forklift operation training course At Cargill, every person matters.
