Key Highlights: 1. Integrate a multidisciplinary team in an innovative climate and health project. 2. Develop backend infrastructure for geospatial data. 3. Contribute to socially impactful research in public health. The Center for Data and Knowledge Integration for Health – CIDACS, a laboratory affiliated with the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) in Bahia, is selecting a Research Fellow to perform Front End activities involving climate and environmental data on the CIDACS\-Clima platform. This platform integrates climate, environmental, and health data to investigate the effects of climate change on population health in contexts of social vulnerability, as well as analyze how environmental and social protection policies can mitigate these effects. Candidates will join the core research team of the project “CIDACS (CIDACS\-Clima) Climate and Environmental Platform: Data for Studying Climate and Health”, developed by the Center for Data and Knowledge Integration for Health (CIDACS/IGM/FIOCRUZ\-BA) at the Bahia Technology Park (Salvador, BA, Brazil), in partnership with the London School of Hygiene \& Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Candidates will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Clima platform’s backend infrastructure, with a focus on geospatial data, including ingestion, organization, publication, and efficient delivery of temporal environmental data.
