Job Summary: The Filtration/Sterilization Critical/COI/Packaging Operator is responsible for production operations in areas such as filtration, centrifugation, deionization, sterilization, gelation, drying, grinding, and packaging, ensuring product quality and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Key Highlights: 1. Operations in critical filtration, sterilization, and packaging processes. 2. Conducts process analyses, readings, and records in spreadsheets. 3. Maintains equipment preservation and workplace organization. Filtration refers to a production area encompassing primary and secondary filtration, centrifugation, deionization of gelatin and peptide, as well as adjacent areas (Central CIP, fat handling, hot water, concentration reduction, filter aid preparation, analyses). The operator possesses knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices. This sector requires the highest level of attention to meet production volume targets and product quality standards; thus, it is essential to recognize and understand process control analyses such as Concentration, Viscosity, Turbidity, Conductivity, and pH. COI Critical refers to a production area encompassing sterilization, gelation, drying, grinding, mixing, and gelatin packaging, including peptide storage and neutralization, peptide spray dryer and packaging, as well as adjacent areas (chiller, Central CIP, air dehumidification). The operator possesses advanced knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, as well as hygiene and cleaning practices. Packaging refers to a production area encompassing grinding, mixing, and packaging of gelatin and peptide, including palletizing and warehousing, as well as adjacent areas (Hot room, samples, air treatment). The operator possesses advanced knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, as well as hygiene and cleaning practices. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform gelatin and peptide packaging and palletizing operations, along with proper identification; * Perform filtration/centrifugation/deionization operations and other activities required for departmental operation; * Prepare and dose filter aids according to current procedures; * Perform, to the same extent, operations carried out by the gelation and drying operators, including cleaning, production, or other activities required for departmental operation; * Conduct analyses, readings, and record entries in process spreadsheets; * Perform metal detector and scale tests, along with analyses and record entries in process spreadsheets; * Print and apply labels to gelatin and peptide bags; * Collect and package samples, along with proper identification; * Maintain preservation of equipment, instruments, and work tools, and monitor necessary maintenance, testing, and cleaning activities during maintenance; * Maintain workplace organization and 5S, as well as collaborate in maintaining workplace cleanliness and hygiene; * Report any quality, safety, or process deviations; * Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety procedures relevant to the role. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Operation of machinery, equipment, valves, and pumps in food, chemical, or related industries; * Prior or current experience operating gelatin dryers and spray dryers; * Operation of machinery, equipment, valves, and pumps in food, chemical, or related industries; * Computer proficiency; * Preferably experienced in filtration and/or deionization operations; * Operation of machinery, equipment, valves, and pumps in food, chemical, or related industries.
