Organize cut materials and identify scraps for reuse SHEAR OPERATOR (SHEARER) POSITION \- Metallurgical Company Maringá/PR\`\`\` We are hiring a Shear Operator to work at a metallurgical company, focusing on precise cutting of metal sheets, material quality, and operational safety. About the Position The professional will be responsible for operating industrial (hydraulic/mechanical) shearing machines, performing cuts according to technical specifications, ensuring correct dimensions, material organization, and compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Operate hydraulic/mechanical shearing machines for cutting metal sheets; Perform machine setup (blade adjustment, square alignment, and limiters); Read and interpret production orders and technical drawings; Conduct measurements using tape measures, calipers, and squares; Organize cut materials and identify scraps for reuse; Assist in loading/unloading metal sheets when required. Work Schedule Monday to Friday Hours: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM \| 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM Occasional overtime on Saturdays Compensation and Benefits Salary: R$ 2.800,00 Meal Voucher: R$ 620,00 Transportation Voucher Estimated Total: R$ 3.420,00 \+ benefits Requirements Completed high school education; Minimum 1 year of experience as a Shear Operator; Experience in metallurgical companies or steel service centers; Knowledge of steel types, thicknesses, and measuring instruments. Preferred Qualifications Metrology training; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
