**Job Mission** Ensure proper management, preparation, dispensing, and counseling regarding medications and health products, guaranteeing patient safety, compliance with current legislation, and promotion of rational medication use. **Key Responsibilities** * Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications, ensuring appropriate patient counseling. * Validate medical prescriptions and identify potential drug interactions, contraindications, or medication errors. * Provide pharmacotherapeutic follow-up and promote treatment adherence. * Prepare compounded medications, where applicable, in accordance with technical and legal standards. * Manage stock levels, orders, storage, and expiry dates of medications and health products. * Ensure compliance with Good Pharmaceutical Practices and applicable legislation. * Collaborate in health education initiatives and pharmacovigilance activities. * Utilize pharmaceutical management information systems and maintain up-to-date records. * Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians and other staff, where applicable. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s or Integrated Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. * Valid registration with the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society (Ordem dos Farmacêuticos). * Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical and therapeutic legislation. * Proficiency in computer applications from an end-user perspective. **Competencies** * High sense of responsibility and professional ethics. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Rigor, organization, and attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time efficiently. * Patient-centered and service-quality-oriented approach. **Working Conditions** * Variable working hours, including shifts and weekends (depending on location). * Work environment in community pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical industry, distribution, or other healthcare settings.
