Position: Junior Pharmacist Location: LAC Workload: 200 hours per month Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 06:45 to 15:20 (1-hour break), and Saturdays from 08:00 to 10:00. Job Responsibilities: \- Serve as the technical responsible, ensuring technical and legal compliance of performed examinations. \- Analyze, validate, and sign laboratory reports. \- Ensure compliance with ANVISA regulations, the Federal Council of Pharmacy (CFF), and other applicable legislation. \- Monitor internal and external quality control programs, as well as calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment. \- Guide and supervise laboratory technicians and assistants. \- Organize the operational workflow of the department. \- Manage inventory, storage, expiration dates, and replenishment of supplies, reagents, and laboratory materials. \- Supervise interns throughout all stages of laboratory routine. \- Conduct hands-on training on biosafety, sample collection, equipment calibration, and laboratory techniques. \- Participate in the development and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). \- Lead technical and clinical discussions to support academic development. \- Evaluate interns’ performance, ethical conduct, attendance, and progress. Pre-Analytical Phase: \- Register patients and verify medical requisitions. \- Perform and supervise collection of biological samples (blood, urine, secretions, and other specimens). \- Assess sample quality regarding identification, volume, preservation, and patient preparation; reject specimens failing established criteria. \- Monitor reagent preparation and laboratory equipment calibration. Analytical and Post-Analytical Phase \- Perform and supervise tests in Biochemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Immunology, Microbiology, and Parasitology. \- Critically evaluate result consistency. \- Validate and release reports in the system. \- Communicate critical results to the medical team when necessary, ensuring timely and safe care delivery. Required Profile: \- Active and valid registration with the Regional Council of Pharmacy (CRF). \- Proven experience in clinical laboratories.
