Visit our website to learn more! **What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?** * Performing highly complex tasks per technical instructions from the department, such as: * General disassembly; * Cleaning and preparation of parts; * General assembly not requiring torque control; * Reading Process Instructions; * Disassembly of locomotives/components, propulsion equipment, and powered wheelsets; * General assembly requiring torque control and reading of technical drawings; * Use of induction heaters/welding equipment; * Use of machining/grinding equipment/tools; * Reading and interpreting drawings; * Use of controlled metrology equipment; * Operation of boiler-making machines/equipment; * Material transaction in the system; * Material collection and sorting; * Kit assembly; * Material allocation; * Dispatch of materials to internal and external customers; * Analysis and control of material distribution to internal customers; * Potential execution of mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic tasks per departmental technical instructions, such as: * Precision mechanical alignment; * Precision mechanical assembly; * Measuring interferences, leaks, and mechanical components; * Balancing; * Adjustments and interchangeability; * Mechanical seating; * Electrical/electronic schematics and components; * Use of electrical measurement equipment; * Diagnosing electronic components and performing repairs; * Compliance with NR10 regulations; * Completing daily process and quality control reports as established by the Quality department; * Organizing and preparing the workplace according to the activity to be performed, following process instructions and EHS guidelines; * Contributing ideas and implementing process improvements—Kaizen Program; * Adhering to integrity and Compliance guidelines, as well as company EHS standards and procedures; * Ensuring proper storage conditions for materials to prevent deterioration and loss. * **Education Requirements** * Completed high school with technical specialization—mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic/piping; * **Our Commitment to Embracing Diversity:** * Wabtec is a global company that invests not only in our products but also in our people—embracing diversity and inclusion.
