Job Summary: A nursing professional provides definitive care to patients with acute or chronic clinical conditions, conducting field deployments for emergency responses. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in training and enhancement programs for emergency services **Objective:** To provide definitive care to patients experiencing acute or chronic clinical conditions. The employee is stationed at the base of origin and deploys to emergency responses on public roads, at companies, residences, clinics, and hospitals whenever dispatched by the emergency dispatch center. **Responsibilities:** * Perform daily checklist verification of materials, medications, and equipment onboard the ambulance; * Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients under direct or remote supervision of a registered nurse; * Provide nursing care to pregnant women, laboring women, and newborns; * Restock materials, medications, and equipment onboard the ambulance as needed; * Issue Service Orders and notify supervisors or the maintenance department whenever equipment maintenance is required, and monitor resolution of maintenance issues; * Maintain radio (or telephone) contact with the medical regulation center and follow its instructions; * Ensure cleanliness, organization, and order inside the ambulance—performing concurrent daily cleaning and terminal cleaning as needed; * Clean and disinfect materials and equipment—maintaining organization of the decontamination area; * Participate in training and enhancement programs for health personnel in emergency services; * Comply with the Professional Practice Act and the Nursing Code of Ethics. **Prerequisites:** * Licensed Nursing Technician with active COREN registration. * Pre-hospital care training and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
