




Job Summary: The Electrical Project Engineer develops and coordinates electrical projects, ensuring compliance with standards, quality, cost, and schedule from requirements to delivery. Knowledge of industrial electrical systems: * Proficiency in drafting and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, Eplan, or similar). * Solid knowledge of power electrical systems. * Experience with low- and medium-voltage systems (and high-voltage, where applicable). * Familiarity with applicable ABNT/NBR standards, NR-10, and IEC standards. * Ability to prepare diagrams, panels, distribution boards, lightning protection systems (SPDA), and grounding systems. The role spans from requirements gathering through final technical documentation delivery, as well as providing support to construction, procurement, and maintenance teams. Detailed Description: * Prepare complete electrical projects, including single-line and multi-line diagrams, material lists, descriptive memoranda, and technical specifications. * Perform electrical calculations: load demand, short-circuit, voltage drop, selectivity, and sizing. * Conduct technical feasibility studies and participate in cost-benefit analyses. * Interpret technical standards (ABNT, NR-10, IEC, IEEE, etc.) and ensure their application. * Provide technical guidance. * Issue RFQs for contracting third-party companies. * Approve RDOs (Requests for Deviation/Order). * Validate physical/financial measurement of project progress. * Prepare studies for managerial review. * Conduct field surveys to collect data and verify project information. * Monitor installation execution to ensure adherence to design and support field teams. * Prepare and review technical documentation for tenders, construction, and installations. * Select equipment and materials by comparing technical alternatives and preparing specifications. * Support the procurement department by responding to suppliers’ technical queries and evaluating proposals. * Participate in commissioning, testing, and start-up activities when required. * Update and maintain project and document version control.
