Description

\- Handle cargo, whether at the company or at the customer’s site, respecting packaging symbols and preserving the integrity of goods; \- Ensure that the quantity of packages collected, delivered, loaded, or unloaded is correctly stated and matches the fiscal document; \- Organize cargo according to its documentation, destination locations, and priorities; identify and organize non-conforming goods; \- Sort road freight bills of lading according to their proper identification or as instructed; \- Support the company by transporting, sorting, and checking goods in accordance with the operational area’s work instructions; \- Work as part of a team and perform other tasks whenever necessary; \- Provide objective and reliable information; \- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace. \- Comply with the Code of Ethics and Conduct, and adhere strictly to Compliance requirements, in full conformity with all applicable laws, regulatory standards, and internal policies; \- Commit to meeting the requirements of relevant quality and environmental certifications, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and SASSMAQ. When working in warehouses: \- Loading and unloading cargo; loading and unloading trucks. \- Collect packaging materials or waste generated from workplace operations. \- Safeguard customer cargo by verifying proper alignment within the batch, ensuring tops are covered, and checking for risks of tipping or damage. \- Perform rework by transferring damaged products from one package to another. \- After container discharge at the pier or onto trucks, sweep the facility and remove nails found on the floor, etc. \- Collect discharge waste (wood, plastic, cardboard, straps, etc.) and place it in designated areas according to recycling guidelines. \- Keep the warehouse and work area continuously clean, recording completed cleaning activities in the checklist or internal report. \- Occasionally perform floor and wall painting, using all additional required PPE for the activity. \- Perform tasks involving light manual tools or equipment that are in safe working condition (original and traceable materials). \- Adhere to all SSMA and Quality Guidelines.
