Monitoring technological advancements to propose improvements and innovations **Salary:** R$ 15\.000,00 to R$ 20\.000,00 **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM \| Hybrid **Location:** Ribeirão Preto – SP **Prerequisites:** * Solid backend experience with Java (OOP, concurrency, and microservices); * API integrations via REST/SOAP; * Hands-on experience with AWS (SQS, SNS, S3, SES) and messaging systems (Kafka or similar); * Proficiency in PostgreSQL (advanced SQL) and Redis (caching/performance); * Experience with observability (logs, metrics, monitoring); * Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and tools such as Git, Postman, and Jira; * Experience with high-availability systems and large-volume integrations; * Ability to evaluate trade-offs (performance, cost, timeline) in cloud environments; * Strategic technical profile, serving as a reference and support for the team; * Preferred Qualifications: Data-related skills (Python, Spark, ETL), NF-e/SEFAZ, and regulatory environments. **Job Description:** The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and evolving the company’s backend solutions, ensuring efficient, secure, and scalable system operation. Their work will directly support business rule implementation, data processing, and integration across diverse platforms and services. In their daily routine, the professional will analyze technical and functional requirements, understand business needs, and define and implement appropriate solutions. They will design consistent software architectures, establish technical standards and best practices to ensure application quality, performance, and maintainability. They will develop and maintain APIs, services, and integrations, ensuring efficient communication between internal and external systems. They will be responsible for database modeling and optimization, safeguarding data integrity, security, and reliability. They will also identify and resolve defects, perform performance tuning, and implement continuous improvements to existing systems. As part of their responsibilities, they will conduct code reviews and oversee the application lifecycle, contributing to production issue prevention and environment stability. They will collaborate closely with frontend, product, QA, and DevOps teams, participating in technical alignment sessions, timeline planning, and resolution of highly complex tasks. The Senior Backend Developer will also serve as a technical reference for the team, supporting less experienced developers through guidance, knowledge sharing, and best practices. They will document solutions and processes to ensure clarity and standardization of technical information. Continuously, they will monitor market technological evolution, proposing improvements and innovations that enhance system efficiency and support the company’s strategic goals.
