Job Summary: Develop budgets for products and services, prepare quantity takeoffs, create schedules, and perform cost estimates for engineering projects. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in the preparation of technical budgets for engineering projects 2. Responsibility for preparing schedules and histograms 3. Analysis of quotations and support in proposal development · Develop budgets for products and services for construction projects by interpreting engineering drawings, designs, and technical specifications; · Prepare quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment; · Create schedules and histograms for labor and equipment required to execute projects; · Perform cost estimates, including requesting, analyzing, and comparing quotations for materials, services, and equipment; · Support the development of technical and commercial proposals in accordance with departmental guidelines; · Adjust and revise budgets as required by the client or Commercial Department; · Maintain the department’s technical archive in an organized and up-to-date manner, ensuring traceability and easy access to information; · Support the Budgeting Team Leader with technical information, deadlines, and status updates on tasks. **Desirable:** Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields); · Knowledge of technical budget preparation; · Prior experience as a budgeting engineer; · Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications; · Experience in preparing budgets, schedules, and histograms; · Knowledge of fire protection systems.
